When everything goes left, go right.

Once,  I remember I was feeling depressed because I had a bad day with my close friends and one of my closest friend came up to me and told me "Hey InĂ©s, stop thinking about whay did you did wrong. Because if you believe you did not do anything wrong, don't start believing what does people want you to believe so that you go straight to them and tell them sorry por anything. And lil goofy (that's how she calls me) when things go left, turn right".

Stop for a moment, isn't that right? Sometimes people come up to you with some strange problem about what should I do? What should I say? Well, if you are right, clearly not what they want to listen. You are the one affected by the problem, not the other individual.

"Don't want to listen something that I don't believe I am"

How to turn right? Once the problem is just on top of you, just take a moment and think why that happened and why would you want to make the other person feel guilty of what he/she has done, and then when you think you are capable of talking seriously but calm, go for it, talk about the problem in a calmed way, trying to understand why that happened.

Weak weeks

HAVEN'T YOU EVER HAD DOES WEEKS IN WHICH YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?

Those times in which you feel that you are taking decisions not by thinking about them, just taking one decision and seeing what happens, because you don't feel strength.

Once feeling weak, think why other days you are feeling strong. Is it your friendships? family? sport? academic achievements?

Once you have identified why you feel weak, think about what are you going to lose if you feel so weak that you don't even focus in what really matters in that moment, maybe: exams? quizzes? studying for any important subject? health? family? And just PUSH yourself up, and think that if you fall 1000 times, you can stand up 1001.

Personally, when I feel weak, what I really do is go for a run, to feel that I'm strong, that physically I'm strong. And that 1 hour run, makes me feel strong, makes my negative thoughts fade away and try to have a positive attitude. Facing my problems in a positive way makes me feel secure of myself.
